Running Club (Grades K-5)
Stenstrom's Runners Club, collaborating with other SCPS elementary schools, provides the opportunity for active Stallions to participate in weekend track meets throughout the school year. To prepare for meets, Stenstrom's runners gather each week just before school for a few laps around the track. Stenstrom is dedicated to the purpose of choices in learning and through Stenstrom's Runners Club, all learners may explore their athletic talents. Thank you to our PE coach for his dedicated supervisory role.
SECME (Grades 3-5)
Each year SECME (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Education) identifies STEM activities to improve student performance and outcomes in the form of competitions with a special emphasis on engineering design concepts. These activities are built into SECME programs throughout the school year culminating in Local, Regional and National Competitions. Regional Competitions are coordinated and sponsored primarily by SECME member universities (UCF) who work directly with one or more school systems in their state or region. Stenstrom students in grades 3rd, 4th and 5th are invited to apply to apply to participate. We are grateful for our staff supervisor for providing Stenstrom students this incredible experience!
Chorus (Grades 4-5)
Then join the Stenstrom Chorus Club with Mrs. Harbin! Chorus Club is primarily open to 4th and 5th graders. If space is available, selected 3rd graders may be extended the opportunity to join as well. Any information regarding Chorus Club sign-ups will be relayed to students during regular music classes when it become available.

Art Club (Grades 4-5)
Utilizing a variety of art mediums, Stenstrom's art clubs give students additional opportunities to explore the visual arts. Stenstrom is dedicated to choices in learning. We are pleased to give Stenstrom's budding artists these moments to develop their creative talents. Thank you to our art teacher for her dedicated supervisory role.
News Crew (Grade 5)
Students may apply for the role of delivering the daily news via video to the entire student body. Serving as both role models and motivators, these creative students provide that spark to the start of each school day while also honing their ingenuity and presentation skills.
Girls on the Run
Girls on the Run is an after-school program designed to inspire girls of all abilities to recognize and embrace their inner strength. Lessons emphasize the important connection between physical and emotional health. Through safety modifications and virtual programming, dedicated and trained staff are ready to adapt to local community needs. At the end of the program, girls complete a 5K, which provides a tangible sense of accomplishment, setting a confident and goal-oriented mindset into motion.
